• 4-9 years of overall IT experience having excellent Life Insurance domain knowledge

• 4-6 years of working on INGENIUM. Good to have COBOL language knowledge, JCL, Rexx, CICS (good to have), DB2, Oracle, Debugging skills.-

• Screen designing in Ingenium, experience in writing Batch and online program.

• Webservices and APIs knowledge, PX knowledge (good to have)

• Must have techno functional skills which includes requirements gathering, gap analysis, INGENIUM configuration, writing functional specs and business solutions.

• Excellent Life Insurance domain knowledge. Preferably ALMI/III certified

• Good Knowledge of SQL, Oracle databases

 

• Responsible for converting client functional requirement into Cobol Code.

• Responsible to do sanity testing and providing UAT and Production support when required.

• Responsible for Requirement elicitation and Gap Analysis.

• Responsible for Defining and Documenting the Scope as a part of Requirement discussion

• Should be able to define the system gaps and providing feasible solutions

• Identifying the Project Risks and making project assumptions during Functional Documentation

• Providing walkthroughs to other Developer and testing teams during the Project progress

• Closely working with Quality Assurance team while testing in progress

• Assist and participate in the deployment of defined business solutions

• Responsible for updating relevant teams to enhance the satellite applications due to the changes in the Core applications

• Expertise in database design and query writing skills

 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present requirements in a manner appropriate to the business

• Produce Functional documentation covering Requirements, Process improvements and test scenarios

• Applying Analytical skill while designing the system changes
