As Desktop Specialist, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance and must have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and must possess superior technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills. They must possess superior people skills dealing with all levels of a team environment up to and including presentations and explanation of projects to upper level management. Key Responsibilities

Regular activities include network engineering and troubleshooting, project management, mentorship of Technical Support Technicians, data cabling, systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments, Business Unit – Technical Services Group | Desktop Engineer

Regular activities include network engineering and troubleshooting, project management, mentorship of Technical Support Technicians, data cabling, systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments, telecom/PBX administration, root cause analysis in problem solving, and assistance in managing the daily activities of the department.

· Assess the impact of changes to systems, applications and infrastructure to determine requirements.

· Configure and solve – DHCP, DNS, various network devices and services.

· Performing Backup and Restore Operations

Skill & Experience

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in BCA, BE / B. Tech, Any Graduate.

4+ years of IT Support or relevant experience.

2+ Years of experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft Administration, Linux Administration, or Cisco IOS (CLI).

2+ years or experience with networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.

2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.

1+ years IT experience with Office 365 support, client, server, and network service delivery.

Experience in Inventory and asset management.

Proven skills in remote troubleshooting, deployment, and desktop support.

Knowledge in MDM – Android & IOS devices is a plus.

Experience in Patch & AV management, Drive Encryption – Bit locker & MacAfee, File Server access management,
